Egypt. Alabaster stopper from a canopic vase depicting the human face of Amset, one of the four sons of Horus, wearing a wig that exposes his ears. 2nd millennium B.C. Well-preserved, despite small chips. H. 12 cm, D. 15 cm. Provenance : -Kleimann Collection, Paris. Probably acquired in the 1950s and kept in the same family ever since.
