Very large sofa in richly carved and gilded wood. It rests on eight legs, the front ones in clawed hocks. The armrests are decorated with lion protuberances. The straight back is decorated at the top with a scrolled accolade motif, centered on palmettes. Model attributed to Pierre-Antoine Bellangé. Debossed mark "C10 3". Empire period. H. 104 cm - W. 235 cm - D. 76 cm (Antique upholstery in stamped silk velvet with laurel wreath motifs, very worn).
