Working table with rich black and gold lacquer decoration from Canton. Two pad feet decorated with dragon heads, linked by a crotch bar. Two baluster-shaped uprights. Richly decorated with animated landscapes in reserves. The folding top reveals cellars, boxes and a needle holder. China for export in the late 19th century. 75 x 63 x 43 cm (Cracks, small missing parts, basket missing, hinge to be restored).
