France, circa 1870. The bicorn, by Maison Rouart, 86, rue Richelieu, Paris. The suit, by Morlent & Janssens, Paris. Provenance Paul Cavelier de Cuverville (1838-1876), Consul of France between 1870 and 1876 in Santiago (Cuba), then Cartagena (Spain).
