Pair of "duel" pistols in case by Guillaume MARIETTE Chased percussion front plates and swan-neck hammer. Rifled barrels marked on the upper side "G Mariette Arq à Paris". Checkered walnut stocks with iron fittings. Finger rest bridges and caps ending in a spinning top. Total length: 41.5 cm Good mechanics. Guns numbered 1 and 2. The guns are presented in a wooden case with brass fillet frames and numbered cartouche, compartmented interior lined with purple velvet marked "G. Mariette 9 rue de Rivoli Paris". Complete with mallet, bullet mold, two component boxes, loading rod and hollow screwdriver for primer housing.
