Two-handed sword, circa 1390/1400.
Piriform pommel (Oakeshott type T) and guard with two slightly fluted quillons (Oakeshott type 7).
Straight blade with median edge (Oakeshott type XVIIIA) and wide spindle.
Set in excavated condition.
Blade length: 90cm
Spindle: 21 cm
Quillon: H 6 cm
Width of quillons: 24 cm
Total length: 119 cm
Balance point 17 cm from the hilt.
Hundred Years' War period.
Very early two-handed sword model.
