L.A.S., aboard the frigate La Révolutionnaire in Port-Royal (Jamaica) December 25, 1803, to Rear-Admiral Sir John Thomas Duckworth, commander of H.M. British naval forces in Jamaica; 2 pages in-4. Following the admiral's intention, Boyé's two "colored servants" go aboard the corvette leSharp: "the younger, destined to go to Charlestown by the American brik the Vigilant, which must leave incessantly, will be claimed by MelleBénigne Najat to whom I entrust him [...] As for the other, whom I attest to be a free man, I desire, according to the intention he has shown me, that he may go to the isle of Cuba by one of the next opportunities"...
