MAX LE VERRIER (1891-1973) "La pluie" or "Le Singe au parapluie", circa 1927 Cast-iron lamp with green patina shaded with brown, on octagonal base with cut sides in polished black stone, the frosted glass shade, on the terrace: Le VERRIER and bears the circular LE VERRIER stamp on the side. Height: 40 cm NB: This model won a medal at the Salon des Humoristes in Paris in 1927.
