In-4, edition based on the Latin and French minutes of La Pucelle's interrogations during her Condemnation Trial in 1431, in Jean Rattaud's translation of the authentic manuscript held in the Bibliothèque de l'Assemblée Nationale. Illustrated by Annie Curtat with 8 color hors-texte compositions under a serpente, one color in-text miniature, 7 black in-text miniatures on a cream background, and a floral border in the style of medieval illuminations on each page of text. Limited edition of 1001 numbered copies on pur chiffon de Rives wove paper, this one no. 674. Publisher's full-blue leather binding, the first board decorated with a gilt fillet and lilies in the spandrels, a gilt frieze, a gilt-stamped title and a central shield with a crowned sword surrounded by two fleurs-de-lis, spine with 2 large raised bands, gilt title and fleurs-de-lis, all edges gilt, in a protective slipcase.
