IMPORTANT SET OF 16 PLACE SETTINGS FROM THE TABLE SERVICE OF EMPEROR NAPOLEON III BY CHRISTOFLE Set of sixteen silver-plated table settings (sixteen forks and sixteen soup spoons), fillet pattern, engraved on the spatula with the large arms of Emperor Napoleon III. Very good condition. Signed "CHRISTOFLE", hallmarks of Charles Christofle and numbers 54, 58, 67 and 70 for 1854, 1858, 1867 and 1870. Second Empire period. L. 21 cm. Provenance: Napoleon III, Emperor of the French (1808-1873).
