Important alabaster plaque sculpted in high relief with polychrome and gilding highlights representing the Crucifixion, central panel of an altarpiece probably dedicated to the Passion. England, Nottingham, last third of the 15th century Height : 47,8 cm - Width : 24,8 cm approximately In a wooden frame. Total height: 60.3 cm - Total width: 28 cm - Depth: 5.7 cm (slight accidents and missing parts) A very similar relief is kept in the Musée du Moyen Âge in Paris, but without the thieves (inv.
