AURIOL Jacqueline(1917-2000) Bronze medal. Obverse: a plane in the centre and the allegory of the four winds blowing from the cardinal points. JACQUELINE AURIOL FLYED ON A S.N.C.A.S.E. Sbd. R. Joly. Reverse: against a background of a starry sky, a plane in the centre, and the date 12 May 1951, with the four winds aligned at the bottom. At the top a cherub holding a torch and laurel. Registration : JACQUELINE AURIOL HAS CONQUERED THE RECORD OF THE WORLD OF SPEED over 100 km AT 818 KMS HOUR Diameter: 81 mm. Smooth slice, BRONZE punch and horn of plenty.
