Playing card die in lead and pewter featuring a king, probab - Lot 270

Switzerland, late 18th century Height: 12 cm - Width: 7 cm (missing upper left corner, deposits) This plate was probably used to make an engraved wood matrix for the xylogravure printing of playing cards.
