[circa 1788]. 3 parts in one volume in-4, marbled calf, triple gilt fillet, ornate spine, red title page, interior roulette, red edges (period binding). Very rare first edition of this work attributed to Du Vaucel, grand maître des Eaux et Forêts du département de Paris. The work, printed in a small number, is divided into five parts, several of which deal with hunting and are not found elsewhere (Thiébaud, col. 325-326). Engraved armorial bookplate of Lord Monson, Burton Library. Hinges rebound.
