François DECORCHEMONT (1880-1971) Vase " Buprestes ", model created in 1912 in thick glass paste slightly yellow and brown with green bluish highlights for the beetles, on a background of foliage molded with lost wax. Signed. Height. 17,5 cm four defects of matter holes inside the vase History : This model was distributed until 1912, five copies were made. A similar example is kept in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (inv. 18501) Exhibition : Décorchemont presented a copy of this vase at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs, in Paris, in 1912.
