Set of more than six hundred positive and negative plates, some of them hand-written in ink. Examples of subjects : Troop of Buffalo Bill at the Paris Carnival in 1905, Indians, horsemen, Anse de la fausse Monnaie (Vallon des Auffes), excursion to the Fountain of Yvoire, photographer, scenes of streets and lives, Montmartre, Rue du Mont Cenis, Passage Cottin, Eiffel Tower, Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, Limoges, Pierrefitte, Cauterets, Farm, Ferme, Transborder, diving, automobile, Raymond Poincaré (att.), Vallon de l'Oriol, etc. Sizes 10.7 x 4.4 cm. Extract from the newspaper "L'Eclair" of March 31, 1905 describing the procession of the Carnival of Mi-Carême in Paris: "... But a surprise was in store for us ... Buffalo Bill sent us some of his best horsemen, who came to join the procession of the Place de la Concorde, and it was the most beautiful parade, where, after the Red Skins, superbly planched, we saw Cossacks, gauchos and cowboys without forgetting a battery of English artillery, which undoubtedly represented some cordial understanding ...".
