Probably "Trompe l "oeil" line, circa 1949
Short jacket in champagne-embroidered satin twine decorated with extensive floral embroidery with seed beads and sequins, the flowers punctuated with beads representing drops of water simulating morning dew.
Small collar, long sleeves, hook-and-eye closure at top and bottom.
White label with black graphics, to match the "Ficelle" Spring-Summer 1949 set.
"Ficelle" is reproduced in Dior, Christian Dior 1947 - 1957, Assouline, 2016, p.101.
Size: 40 approx.
Waist circumference: 71 cm
Significant damage under right armpit, stained lining, some embroidery slightly undone.

Short jacket in champagne embroidered satin adorned with an elaborate floral design featuring rocaille beads and sequins, with pearls depicting water drops mimicking morning dew.
Small collar, long sleeves, closure with hooks at the top and bottom.
White label with black graphics, to be compared with the "Ficelle" ensemble Spring-Summer 1949.
"Ficelle" is reproduced in the book "Dior, Christian Dior 1947 - 1957", Assouline, 2016, p.101.
Size: approximately 40.
Waist circumference: 71 cm
